im looking to buy a new camera and need something that is reasonably priced (<$400) and has good picture quality. im looking for a small one with a good sized screen. what would you recommend?
im looking for something nice and small (small enough to fit in backpack) and takes good pics. i want it to be between 4 mp and 8 mp. not willing to spend over $400. must have an lcd screen. preferrably over 1 1/2" large. got any suggestions?

i don’t know how small you want it to be but i have a kodak z700 that i carry in my purse. i’m happy with the pics it takes and the screen is big enuf to use instead of the viewfinder. it was under $200

I suggest the Canon Powershot A530 digital camera. It is small, it has a pretty big screen, and it is only $139.99. Other digital cameras would have a lot higher price and a lot less high quality.

Casio EX-S770. I got mine for under $400. Picture quality is relatively good. It is one of the smallest and slimmest digital P&S out there.

The Kodak EasyShare is really good quality and takes good quality pics! The screen is reasonable, and the camera itself is small. I just got one and I absolutely love it!
